Dr. Carlo Gaeta graduated cum laude in 2002 from the School of Dentistry at the University of Siena, Italy, with a patent filed through university funding. In 2001, he participated in a fellowship program at the University of Minnesota, Department of Preventive Sciences. In 2004, he obtained a postgraduate certificate in Oral Implantology from the University of Siena and, in the same year, was co-recipient of the Henry Goldman Prize, awarded by the Italian Society of Periodontology. In 2016, he earned a certificate in TMJ dysfunction from the University of Vienna, under the supervision of Prof. Rudolf Slavicek. Since 2018, he has been serving as an adjunct professor in the postgraduate program in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry at the University of Siena. In 2023, Dr. Gaeta earned a Ph.D. from the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Siena, focusing his research on endo-medicine and irrigation strategies in endodontics. He has been an active member of the Italian Academy of Endodontics (AIE) and the Italian Society of Conservative Dentistry (SIDOC) since 2023. He has also been a Silver Member of Style Italiano Endodontics since 2024. Dr. Gaeta is the author of more than thirty scientific publications. Since 2022, he has held a position as a research fellow at the University of Siena and currently runs a private practice in Florence, specializing primarily in endodontics.
