Professor Federico Foschi is a leading clinician-scientist in Endodontology, combining a distinguished academic career with a refined private referral practice. He holds the Chair in Endodontology at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute, where he leads the Endodontics Unit and directs its postgraduate programmes.
His clinical work is focused on the management of complex endodontic cases, with particular expertise in non-surgical retreatment and surgical micro-endodontics (apicoectomy). He maintains a consultant-led practice, accepting referrals for advanced care including the restoration of the compromised tooth.
He graduated with honours from the University of Bologna and completed his PhD at the Forsyth Institute, Harvard Dental School. A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, he has held senior academic posts at King’s College London and the University of Plymouth.
An internationally sought-after lecturer, he is a Gold Member of Style Italiano Endodontics, regularly teaching on advanced techniques and contemporary treatment planning. His scholarly contributions include numerous peer-reviewed publications and a definitive textbook in the field.
He is entered on the General Dental Council’s Specialist Registers in Endodontics, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
